The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office status sassa committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support place established for intervention ordeals a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to SRD attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
